I take several meds a day. Can you offer help to control the spread of it?

Diabetes is not a cancer, it doesn't spread. It can, however, progress. You really should be discussing this with a medical professional but a very general rule of thumb is that you should be exercising everyday, eating a balanced diet that focuses on lower carbs, and testing your blood glucose daily.

Exercise. It can negate some of the effects of type 2 but not all.

Avoid sugars and carbs. Focus on proteins and drink lots of water. Exercise too.
