Halal meat has no pork which is full of fat. Animals are slaughtered without seeing the knife( this is a condition) for mercy. A specific major vein in the neck is cut with a sharp secure knife to ensure two things:1) a fast slaughtering for mercy to the animal.2) And draining of much of the blood to avoid clots of blood that can shorten preserving time and can carry diseases. 3) When the animal is slaughtered without stress - because it did not see the knife nor saw other animals being slaughtered- the meat will be more tender and will taste better since much of the blood is gone.

halal has to do with the way the animal is slaughtered. The animal is let die by bleeding, which causes a lot of pain and stress. It has nothing to do with hygiene. In fact, I have often noticed that this meat reaches the retail chain without any of the basic hygiene standards which are applied by non-halal businesses.

The only difference is these animals are slaughtered quicker by using an extremely sharp knife/tools. It is ***** to slaughter using blunt tools because it will only hurt the animal. It is not designed to hurt animals. Not just anybody can slaughter an animal, it has to be a god fearing man uttering words of Allah. Animals deemed halal would be cows, goats, chicken. ***** food would be animals that lives in two world (water and on ground) and pig because pig contains harmful worm that will not die even after freezing it nor cooking. Scientifically proven, pig tapeworm can live and travel to your head, it could live under your scalp and multiply.

Halal is the Muslim version of kosher, not healthier as far as vitamins and calories. But symbolizes how it is prepared and packed.

No, it is no different than any other method. It is probably less healthy, as it is rarely done in packing plants that are inspected, so you have no idea how clean it may be. This "rule" comes from the same book that mandates which hand you wipe your bum with.

Yes. Halal meat is beneficial for nutrition and health. Only healthy animals can be slaughtered. It is done by Muslims who are trusted and experienced. The meat itself will have no blood clots within the veins—giving it a longer shelf life. Animals will be treated with mercy and respect and will be blessed with the name of God (Allah) prior to slaughter.
