Who has had a smelly vagina where the vaginal discharge stinks? And the discharge is a thick white colour? For example, your underwear stinks and you can smell it when standing because the smell was so strong.

When you went to the doctor, what did the condition turn out to be? Was it some kind of disease? Or did you go to the doctor at all? Did you use medications to stop the smell? Or did the smell go away by itself?

Mature answers plz.

It sounds like you could have bacterial vaginosis (BV). But BV also has the same symptoms as Chlamydia so you need to get checked. If you don't have a doctor or can't afford it look up the closest Planned Parenthood in your area. Let them know that you need a UTI and STD check. If you have BV they can give you treatment that day, if it's an STD they will phone you when they get the results back and then have you come in and get meds for that. If you are having these symptoms there is definitely something going on and it will not go away by itself. It will just get worse so please go get checked asap. And don't have sex until after you have been checked and treated for whatever is going on or you will just continue to get reinfected. Good luck!!

I've had that at one time or anotha. Once it was BV the other it was a yeast infection. The docs should be able to help u wit this. But once they do fix it here are some tips to keep u healthy. Eat yogurt. At least a cup a day. Make sure it has Active live culture. Just read the bottle. It'll tell u. Wear cotton underwear as much as possible. If u wear thongs, take them off as soon as u get home. Don't sleep in them either. Not cool. When u shower, if u dry down there make sure the towel is clean, fresh, and dry. The best thing to do though is let that area air dry. And when u sleep don't wear panties. Let that area breath at night.

I have to agree with most of the answers ^. You need to schedule an appointment with your doctor. Initially I would say yeast infection so as a first step while waiting to see your doctor try any of the over the counter yeast infection treatments. If that does not treat it then at least you will have an appointment scheduled to get a more in depth exam done and be sure that it is or is not an STD or something.

See a doctor asap and make sure the doctor does a full internal examination.

Do you use tampons? I knew of a case where a tampon had come apart and half had been left inside unbeknown to the poor girl causing similar symptoms to what you are describing.

Try not to worry too much most vaginal discharges are easy to treat.

You most likely have a yeast infection. You can go to a Pharmacy, and pick up Monistat. Read the directions, and wait a week. If it doesn't go away, go to your doctor.

It could be candiditis or vaginitis or even a STD, best to go to a doctor. If you have been on antibiotics, it could be an overgrowth of yeast. It could even be trichmonas.

Had you just had intercourse with a male like within the last 24hrs? It sounds to me that is the remnants of that. It does not stay in your body. Your body releases it back out and it does smell. Just wipe and and wash.
