Rapeseed is a plant with a bad name.So yes oil from it's seeds is fine for us vegans. It is also called canola oil.
It is a good plant source of Omega oils which are found in fish which is maybe what you got confused by?
Best to look for non-gm organic oil though as with all plants.
Farmers grow huge fields of it-look for it in farm areas,it has bright yellow flowers.

if it's 100% pure rapeseed oil, then it should not contain any other stuff.... you need to check the ingredients label to be sure, but I find it highly unlikely that it would contain fish oils.
rapeseed oil and fish do contain the same types of beneficial oils - omega-3's. Maybe that's what the internet article was saying.

Yep, thumbs up for Renzo! And mind you, natural rapeseed oil contains erucic acid, which is mildly toxic to humans in large doses but is used as a food additive in smaller doses. However, nothing to do with fish oils, apart from the fact, that it also contains omega 3 which is found in fish oil.

I used to purchase rapeseed oil as usually as accessible, besides the undeniable fact that the supermarkets typically dropped it likely because of the undesirable call. because then, i have stumbled on that Tesco's, Sainsbury's and LIDL actual promote it yet commonly labelled only as "vegetable oil" and customarily has a photo of rape flora on the label. only look on the elements on the bottle and if it says "one hundred% rapeseed oil", purchase it. it truly is marvelous for Yorkshire-type pudding.
