i've been trying to look online to find more info on this. none are really specific. it started with my clitoris...it started to somewhat itch and i think from my itching it and the area around it started to burn a little if i touched it. then the itching started to go a little further down in the genitals...not too bad of itching though. so i made sure not to have sex etc. doesnt' burn with i urinate or anything. so i figured it was a yeast infection. but then i started looking down there and i can see some closed lesion type things on my genitals. they were a yellowish color. they didn't pop out or raise up off of the genitals like how a pimple does, just kind of on there and small and yellowish. there is like one little patch and if i touch it, it does sting a little. then i started to notice a pimple like raised bump on my inner lip on my genitals. i dont know what this is. could it be herpes? or something else. i always thought herpes were a lot of open sores/blisters

also, i have been with my current boyfriend for 8 months and only him. we do have unprotected sex and i did occasionally have unprotected sex before him. i haven't had a cycle in what feels like 2months, although i took a pregnancy test and not pregnat. i'm not on birth control and i do excessivly clean my genital area with soap a lot. could that be the cause, maybe a reaction to the soap i use. that is what i was thinking could be the issue also.

It is time to visit the doctor. You could have one of several STDs including Herpes. Herpes is generally blister-like with itching. You could have HPV--little warts that can itch. You could also have Mulluscom Contagiosum--little wart like things that can itch also.
There are some other too--Syphillus, which is becoming more common, causes non-painful yellowish/heaped up ulcer-like lesions that go away on their own, but you still have the bacteria and still need to be treated or else you could get later effects from the bacteria--like dementia. It could also be a chancre caused by a bacteria also. They are typically very painful.
Sounds to me like either warts (HPV), Herpes, or syphillus.

well unfortunately it sounds like it may be herpes you can go to www.google.com and put in symptoms of herpes and it should tell you more but from what i understand herpes kinda looks like kanker sores and the area may be tingly or painful or red and irritated..I have also read that std's can take up to 6 months before they start causing problems..if this is your first outbreak you can go to your doctor, get checked and he will likely put you on an acyclovir treatment..pills that you take for a couple weeks and its possibly curable if you catch it when its new.. more than anything..go to the doctor

you need to see the gynecologist ASAP. This is sounds more like an STD than a bacterial infection. Please get this taken care of ASAP.The gynecologist will put you on the right treatment on antibiotics such as azithromycin. Please use protection when you have sex. The chances of getting HPV is higher as well as PID,and HIV too and conceiving a child is very risky too. Please refrain from sexual activity until the gynecologist makes his/her diagnosis. She/He will do lab work as well. I agree with the med student that it could be Herpes, HPV, or Syphillis.
