there are many causes: drugs, including caffeine; abnormal thyroid; fear; anxiety; heart attack; lack of sleep; dieting; exercise.............
if this is happening to you for no apparent reason, visit your doctor or an ER. the worse that could happen is a stroke or death.

It could be an allergic reaction, an iron deficientcy, a heart problem, too much caffeine or any nnumber of things. I recommend you ask your doctor. A routine physical can dicount some of the things above. Try cutting out caffeine for a bit and see if that helps, in the meantime. I definitely recommend seeing a doctor.

My heartbeat used to go from 75 beats per minutes to about 240 beats per minute in 1 second or less. It is a condition known as AV node re entrant tachycardia. I had a succesful radiofrequency ablation and it cured me.
Maybe you have the same thing.

could be several different reasons....have you seen a heart doctor??? what are you doing when your heart is racing???? do you have anxiety attacks........that will do it. i suggest you see a heart doctor. if the first wont pay attention, get another one. if doctors had paid attention to me, MAYBE i wouldnt have had a heart attack. but, since im female... there was nothing wrong.

Could be a bunch of different things, something a simple as too much caffiene or something really deadly like a tachycarrdia. You should go to your doctor and get it checked to be sure.
