I have been having allergy problems for a couple of days. Sore throat, runny nose and now dry mouth. Is it serious? I'm going to the emergency room.

Yes, post nasal drip can cause a dry mouth. Your allergy problem may have turned into a sinus infection, etc. Do you have a fever? Are you coughing up phelgm? Is it clear or green? I would go see the doctor, your allergist, a doc in the box...It is not serious enough for the ER--not wonder everyone has to wait so long!!

oh, yes, as well as any medication you may be taking for it.

it doesn't sound serious, assuming you can breath, etc.

make an appointment with an allergist.
