sounds like a multiple set of problems. Productive foamy cough, suggests congestive heart failure, protruding abdomen could be a number of things, ascities comes to mind, localized pain in his head could be migraine or even stroke.
He needs a full work up by a physician.

I am not a doctor, but i recognize some of the symptoms.

White frothy sputum, chest rattle, and cough that all occur together are caused by pulmonary edema - which is fluid build-up in the lungs. There are many causes of pulmonary edema, so a doctor will need to know about other symptoms, your husband's habits and medical history; and an exam will be needed to diagnose this problem. Pulmonary edema is a very serious symptom that could be caused by a life-threatening condition. It's not a 911 emergency if the froth is white, but he should see a doc soon. If the froth is colored in any way, it is a dire emergency.

There aren't many conditions where pulmonary edema occurs with the other symptoms listed, so there is probably more than one thing going on here, and no way to begin to guess over the Internet.

Please have your husband evaluated by a physician ASAP. No responsible physician would attempt to diagnose his condition on a Q&A site such as this.
