Nissan/ Top Ramen, Oriental flavor is Vegan!
Not any other kind, they have beef, pork or shrimp
Edit- It is however, made in a facility that produces non-vegan food.

do you really want to go vegetarian for the animals or just to sound cool or different. alot of vegetarians are lazy and eat foods containing ingredients like chicken stock or lard. some people even eat fish and/or chicken and consider themselves vegetarian. so call yourself what you will but eating anything with meat or made from meat is not vegetarian. so back to my point. if you don't want to be super strict on certain ingredients just avoid eating meat as much as possible but don't consider yourself a vegetarian. or you can educate yourself a little and know what is vege and what it not. note: maruchan brand ramen is not vegetarian. top ramen brand oriental and spicy vegetable (which by the way is freaking delicious) are completely vegetarian.

Better stay away from meat-flavored ramen. They do use animal extract in the flavor, and on that note most processed soups use chicken broth as a main ingredient instead of water. For ramen, if you like you can also opt for the veggie or mushroom flavors. They're tasty and afaik have no animal products.

after doing some research, i'd say you most definitely need to check the ingredients (for the noodles and the seasoning) because it sounds like the recipes vary from brand to brand, and most do use beef extract. :( sorry. but as someone suggested, you could always buy just the noodles in the asian foods section of a grocery store!

no the regular Ramen meat flavoured is made with animal extract. Get the Vegetarian Ramen
it's new.. it contains soya sauce and pumpkin oil
to mimic a meatlike taste! You could just get regular unflavoured noodles and flavour them yourself! I bought some Rooster brand noodles
they were marked vegetarian. Unfortunately when
I got home I read ingredients and it said may/or may not contain turkey juices! Well since then I read the ingredients of things I buy!

congrats on making the decision to stop eating meat! and yes, the meat flavored ramen has meat products in it (the chicken flavor has powdered cooked chicken in it and the beef has i believe beef fat in it), so it is not technically a vegetarian food. i only discovered this a couple of months ago and i was disappointed because i like ramen. now i just make my own sauce. i'm not sure what the oriental ramen has in it so always check the ingredients if you aren't sure. good luck! =)

Meat flavored ramen noodles are flavored with meat and are not vegetarian. Even the oriental ones are flavored with meat. Be sure to read labels.

if you don't eat meat, then you probably don't want to eat meat flavored ramen, because the noodles contain broth. The broth is made from flavoring that comes from the meat by boiling the stock.

Well, ramen does contain broth and animal fat... It really depends on you and how strict you want to be. Personally, I'm a vegetarian, and I don't eat any kind of ramen.

You can eat anything you please but if you eat anything with meat in it knowingly you are not a vegetarian. Does this Ramen have meatless meat flavored protein in it . It is usually made from beans, often soy.

firstly: good choice! people need to stop thinking about themselves and start caring for animals, i'm so glad you're going to be a vegetarian.
some brands of ramen have all artifical flavours. but nearly all use extracts of real animals that used to live. i think you shouldn't eat meat flavoured ramen, just to be on the safe side. just think, that powder could have been full of dead grinded cow. don't take the risk
