I have heard before that a person can stop their own heart
from beating and I see no way for somebody to do this

Some people can learn to control their pulse rates by practicing many long hours of biofeedback. It is very difficult, and not many people can gain enough control to actually stop their heart, but it is possible for someone to momentarily stop their heart if they are skilled enough to do so.

well you gotta hold your breath....i dont kno any other way that you can live and stop your heart from beating at the same time!
i think its impossible, unless you want a new heart!
