My three year old son has chronic asthma and labored breathing during an attack caused him to sweat like crazy. Just a guess but if he is having respiratory issues such as pnemonia you may want to have is saturations checked by the Dr. You can also check for retractions yourself by watching his breathing if he is "pulling" in the rib area when he breathes or at the nape of his neck you should have him checked immediately. His saturations should be above 96 (i think) at that age. If he is retracting chances are his saturations are too low. Good Luck! Please don't let this go. Continuous or excessive low saturations can be unhealthy for the brain. One thing my son developed was stuttering from so many episodes of low sats.

You could well be right. Get back to your paediatrician and get them to x-ray him again. Pneumonia usually does clear very well with antibiotics and physio, but sometimes can leave an area in the lung which remains a little less than perfect. If this happens, your son will still show symptoms. He may need more antibiotics or more physio to loosen and clear the secretions, and re-expand the lobe of the lung that's affected.
Go back to the doctors, and keep going back until you're happy.

I'd take him to the doctor. It shouldn't be the pneumonia though as if he had that for 3 weeks he would be dead.

panadol for infants will help. He is young enough to completely get over this and his lungs will heal.
all children get fevers when their body is fighting illness. Keep him cool and comfy, you'll be OK
