I've been coughing alot lately for the last year or so. Its not a big cough, but more of a little cough of breath. I'm worried that it might be a sign of something wrong with my lungs or whatever. Anyone have any ideas?

I dont have any allergies or acid reflux to the best of my knowledge. Also, I dont get chest pain or wheezing. Right now, the coughing is just a mild annoyance.

A cough is not always something terribly serious. It could be, but chances are it isn't. Do you ever have problems with acid reflux, use a lot of tums or zantac or similar medications? Acid reflux, which is quite common can lead to a chronic cough. You might find that by using an over the counter zantac or prilosec will solve your problem.
Obviously there could potentially be other causes like early asthma or even tuberculosis, so this might need to be checked. Do you wheeze or ever have shortness of breath? Ever have night sweats? If not, chances are its reflux. But, better safe than sorry, always consult your physician for medical issues.

Best of luck.
