Yes....it is possible. Both my sister and I have the same difficulty. My father is colorblind.....and while true color blindness is usually restricted to men.....it is not uncommon for female children of color blind individuals to stuggle with decerning between colors that have a very similar hue. My mother was shocked that we both had this problem! I have since married a color blind man and we suspect our youngest son is color blind as well !

yes..my friend is slightly color blind, she canot tell between dark greens and blues.
