i gave my bf oral for the first time in nov. and like the next day my lips were itching and kind of burning?

does that mean i have herpes?? is that a symptom?? because i didnt get an outbreak...but above my top lip it was a little red for like 2 days. please answer my question because i am really concerned.

I doubt that was herpes. Symptoms usually occur 6-8 days following infection, not the next day. That would be too early for symptoms to show up.

Yes that is a symptom but it doesn't mean that herpes is the problem. It could be an infection or just irritation or dry lips. Go and see a doctor asap.

What are you guilty of, perhaps having two guys on the go at once perhaps? You could have had this outbreak because of your thinking process, understand? You could have picked up a mild form of herpes, however it is not the end of the world.

oh boy...first of all you need to get your man checked out. herpes usually doesnt show right away and can take 6-12 months to show anything. but if your mouth got all red and itchy, it could be anything. It could even be rug burn from the friction, you know? either way go get it checked out...you and him both

itching and burning is a sign of herpes, but that doesn't meen that you have herpes, your lips are probably just dry.....
