I went to my family doctor and he said he was "pretty sure" it was Herpes Virus but he'll send the samples out for testing and I'll know in about 5 days... Well I've been taking the medications he's prescribed me and NOTHING is working. It's getting worse. When i take Advil it feels better. The thing I am concerned with is that I read up on a lot of what the 'blisters' should look like and they say "fluid-filled". My question is are we talking about puss or are we talking about blood because I am constantly spotting blood and I noticed when I went to the bathroom one was bleeding quite a lot.... Is this normal?!

It's usually a clear fluid. Mine have occasionally had a little blood in them though, but mine are usually filled with a clearish puss.

I wouldn't say it was that unusual. Just keep an eye on it. What kind of medication did he give you? Sometimes it can take a few days before it seems like the medication is working. And if the Advil is helping then keep taking that. I was in so much pain during my first outbreak I was prescribed 2 different antiviral medications, antiviral cream, and Vicodin for the pain; it was horrible!

Good luck to you!

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/Herpescures2o15N7R2

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Herpes are filled with clear fluid in the blisters. The symptoms come along with them. Burning, itching, tinglings etc. You should experience those too. if you want to know what that is click on the link below and see what you have is same as what it shows. The doctor of course can see it clearly since i can't diagnose you but wait until the culture test comes back and see. what did he precribe you? Valtrex? Acyclovir? Or only pain reliever???? Anyway, if you aren't experiencing the symptoms i mentioned above, you should wait for the result. Sometimes, doctors can be wrong too but of course he/she can examine you which i can't so that i can be wrong too. Just wait until the test coming back is the best thing for you so far. if you feel uncomfortable, may be try to see another doctor and get second opinion.
