I became one because of the cruel, indecent ways animals are treated just to end up on someone's plate. I have been a veggie since I was 8 now, & am now 32. xxx

Compassion for animals is in all hazard the main elementary reason for turning out to be a vegetarian. people generally dislike the way animals are being saved and slaughtered. analyze have additionally shown that being a vegetarian is fit and vegetarians generally stay longer and are much less in all hazard to get cancer and different illnesses. it fairly is greater advantageous for the enviorment to consume much less/no animals because of the fact it takes a great sort of uncooked components to fatten cow's, chickens, pigs etc. greater desirable than as quickly as we could basically take the suplies quickly from the floor to consume them ourselves (corn, grain, potatoes). And final yet no longer least, faith could additionally be a reason. to illustrate budists do no longer consume meat in any respect (the are not allowed to wreck animals). Hindoes do no longer consume cow and Muslims do no longer consume crimson meat meat. because of this 30% of the persons who stay in India are vegetarians (best proportion of any u . s . interior the worldwide) i'm hoping this helped :).

there are definetly reasons to be a vegetarian or vegan, i'm neither, because i enjoy eating meat, and i don't like other protien alternatives.
Some reasons people decide to not be carnivorous though can simply be health or money reasons. Eating only fruits and vegetables, as well as grains is good for you, because they contain less, if any cholestorol, fat and other bad for you stuff, but meat also has benefits when you eat appropriate amounts. Buying only grains, fruits and veg is way cheaper also, while buying any kind of meat can get pretty expansive.
Animal cruelty is also a reason for some people.

Yeah dying early and of malnutrition problems like weak bones
lack of iron
It is proved that no amount of supplements or Green veg can give you the right vitamins or nutrients as Beef can
Also Milk and Diary in the case of Vegans
People who live the longest and are the healthiest are people who have a varied diet and eat fish that is very good for you
The recommended guidelines is that you should eat red meat and fish at least once a week
Cows, sheep and pigs etc are only grown for our consumption if we didn't eat them they wouldn't survive they would more than likely be extinct or there wouldn't be hardly any wondering around naturally
Fact we are meat eaters it is what we need to survive and grow healthily (Providing we eat it with the other sorts of food we need like fruit and veg grains all the thing we need to be healthy) Everything in moderation!!
If you choose not to eat meat because you think it is cruel to the animals or you simply don't like the taste then that is up to you but remember you will have to take allot of supplements and find out the right sort of foods that contain some of the goodness that meat does
It isn't healthy to be a Vegetarian or vegan as you are missing so many nutrients and proteins that humans need (hence we are meat eaters for a reason you don't get lions decide not to eat meat coz it is cruel!)

Well if you watch a video on animals being slaughtered, it's like you made a mistake eating meat. Plus it makes you more slimmer and healthier since most vegetarian or vegan food contains natural fat.

There are many. Not wanting to contribute to the suffering of animals, wanting to avoid antibiotics, mad cow disease, etc., wanting to preserve natural resources, simply thinking it's gross to eat a cadaver...
This website has a great list of 50 reasons to be a vegetarian. I don't want to type them all out here, but check it out:

It completely depends on the individual, some don't like the taste of it, others care about animal welfare&the environment and increasingly ppl are worried about diseases and what food actually contains&where it came from

Yes, personal choice, everyone has it.
You either want to or you don't, so I don't see the point of rattling out the age old for and against arguements.
