I recommend not taking any vitamins.
Vitamins are a scam. See, a vitamin is a complex, that is, an intergral part of a plant. It cannot be extracted and made into a vitamin pill (not yet anyway). It's impossible. What people are doing is taking one part of the vitamin complex and making pills from that. For example, Vitamin C, they are taking the preservative of Vitamin C (an acid) and putting that into the bottle. It's not the whole Vitamin.
Anyway, you can do your own research, but really, it's just an evil scam. It's better to eat whole foods, such as eating oranges instead of Vitamin C. Not only are oranges cheaper, but you can be certain that not only is the Vitamin you are looking for in there, but also that it's a naturally balanced product; balanced with all the other vitamins and minerals. Even if you could bottle Vitamin C and eat it, it would throw your whole body out of balance without the other nutrients.

If you go to Whole FOods and tell them that you need help with a vitamin plan, the nutritionist will listen to your daily needs and show you which vitamins would be most helpful to you. I'm vegan too and that's what I did. If you are going to start taking vitamins though, you need to take them every day for it to work. The nutritionist at Whole Foods will talk you through all of that for FREE

I like VegLife.
Remember, since vitamins are all formulated differently, it's good to switch now and then. Use one for 6 months or a year, then switch. Then switch again. And so on.
