Obviously it doesnt harm animals, its from your mom and like all mothers milk is especially designed for the species' babies, theres nothing better. No hormones, (especially if the mother is careful not to eat food with hormones), and no stuff designed for cows but only stuff designed for humans.
but look at the lowest comment here:

I dont find anything wrong with vegan children, im not saying that, its just that breast milk is certainly not animal abuse.

Well, technically it's not vegan - but that doesn't make it WRONG. Vegans usually are vegans because they want to avoid the suffering and exploitation of animals. It's not possible to consume meat or dairy (other than breast milk) without a defenseless animal being exploited in the process.
However, with human breast milk, the mother could say "no" if she wanted to, she's not defenseless, and she WANTS to breastfeed her baby, so she's not being exploied.
I know many vegans do breastfeed, so I think the comment you linked just meant "if we want to be technical" - and technically, it wouldn't be vegan - but it also wouldn't violate vegan ethics :)

I've never known or heard of any vegan who was opposed to breastfeeding. Vegans are generally opposed to animal products because it is taking something from the animal that was intended to be used by it or its offspring. Human breastmilk is intended for human babies, so it's perfectly fine. They WOULD however have a problem with using any OTHER species' breastmilk for human babies.

That person must hate vegans right? They are just another person trying to prove a vegan wrong. Stupid and wrong.

Many vegans breast-feed their babies. Usually longer than flesh-eaters due to the lack of vegan baby formula. Brest-feeding your own child is vegan because it is voluntary and it doesn't harm, kill, exploit, etc. any innocent creatures.

I agree that it's silly, but if you think about it, breast milk is technically not vegan. Assuming that the definition of vegan is someone who consumes no animal products or by-products.

the fact that it's good for babies is beside the point. vegans avoid animal by-products, and people are animals.
