ok.. i went to the doctor and he said that i have BV which is Bacteria vaginosis .. it's pretty painful.. they gave me Flagyl 4 pills at one time..it been 24 hrs since buit it still hurts and i got pain they gave me meds but they r not working .. Percocet was one of them How long do i have to put up with this pain..???????

I don't doubt that you're in pain.
However, don't overmedicate. If you're in that much pain, you need to go to the ER! Percocet is pretty powerful stuff, and either you're not giving it enough time or it's just not taking away the pain.
But if your pain is REALLY that horrible that you cannot function, you DO need to see a professional again to make sure that everything is working as it should.

If I was you I would call the prescribing doctor and tell them of your still current symptoms and see what they can do for you. If there is no one at the office that can help you because it is after hours I would go to the er and take all the prescriptions with you that you have and they will be able to help you there.

Did they culture for the bacteria involved? Could be you are taking the wrong antibiotic and a culture would indicate that. Suggest you call your doctor and ask him why you still have pain and could you be on the wrong med.

Pain will be there for a while. But I strongly suggest that you know the facts about the medicine by asking your doctor. I think it's supposed to be 'automatic' to everyone to ask questions about the prescribed medicine that you're given. You may never know but it can be a minor side-effect of the medicine. FEEL FREE to ask him/her your concerns.

it takes 24 to 48 hours to kick in sorry to hear ur not well if in 48 hours u fell no better go to the doctors ok
