You generally can't! That's why you should be wary of having casual sex, especially if its unprotected. You put yourself at very high risk by doing so.

You can't

I wish Sue Johanson was on network TV prime time

She had a show called "Sex With Sue" which was, I think, the absolute best sex education radio show ever!!! She also had "The Sunday Night Sex Show" on the womens network, now I guess she is just on the Oxygen Network

There are other copy cats (Sue McGarvey) but not even close to the quality of Sue Johanson. If you cant find her show on cable, at least check out the links, below, or buy one of her books.

She is honest, accurate, sometimes uncomfortable to listen to, and often funny as hell; all while being very informative and destroying the myths and stereotypes.

It'll be worth the search.

My suggestion is to not take a risk. Always use a condom untop of any birth control pills you might be taking as they do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Most std's have no visual tell tale symptom so the best thing to do is wait until you know him enough to ask him to go get tested. Its not worth having a one time fling that might leave you with a disease.

Hope this helps!

I have/had a rule (since I have a boyfriend now and in a mongamus relationship). when I was "dating" I wouldn't sleep with someone unless they got tested! That's the only way. NOTE there is no test for HPV since it's a skin virus and undetected through check ups so still wear condoms.
Always consider that condoms don't protect 100%.

There are some symptoms that are noticeable like when he urinates he has to grubb his home boy because he is burning and a discharge on his boxers those are the only ones that I could think of but be safe believe me you don't want to be in a position in which you are told you have something that cannot be cured and no matter how much you hurt or cry it will not go away!

You can't tell. Use condoms and tell him you want the both of you to get tested so you can feel comfortable with each other.
Unless there is a visible sign of something, you will have no idea if he has something and shouldn't believe what he says at face value -he may have something and not even know it. Not worth risking your health for sex.

Sorry Sweetie.. not possible! If you feel that he might have an STD it's best not to have sex with him, otherwise, ALWAYS use a condom, no matter what other protection you are on!

Protect yourself. He may lie to you. If he really wants to be with you in that way go to the doctor with him and have a blood test. That is the ONLY surefire way to find out. Dont let him pass anything on to you for his own selfish reasons. If he respects you he will go to the doctor.

Hi, first of all, it would be smart to use protection i.e condom in this case and then u could observe his genital areas...and last but not least talk to him about ur concern or worries .....that's what i would do and would suggest u do....

it doesn't have to involve sexual contact.
If he insists, wear a condom. But he wouldn't if he respects you.
Better safe than sorry. And condoms aren't fully reliable.
