Absolutely. Some people can go months and even years sometimes without ever showing any signs of the virus, like an outbreak. Also the longer you have the virus, the less outbreaks you typically get. I have had genital herpes for 6 years now and my last outbreak was over 2 years ago.
One of you might have had it all along and never realized it. But, you also have to take into consideration that he may have cheated on you.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?
But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about 5 yrs ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/TEw96 everything changed.
Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

yes it's right, alot of people get a breakout twice a year or less, it's common to have symptoms within 2 weeks of getting infected but not always- stress and other things can cause breakouts

Yes, that is absolutely true. You can never have a breakout and be infected.
That is why it is important to be tested before hand, because a lot of STD's show no symptoms.

yes, you can usually only contract it when your partner has a breakout. I learned this from watching the genital herpes medicine commercials.

You know it can also be transmitted by the person who did originally have it thru tough...Hand Shakes, Touching Money and so on and passing it along.
It is true you can have it for years and so no signs..its possible to only have on out break and never again as well.
I wish they would change the name of this STD..it makes it worse than it really is.
