Consumption of alcohol is injurious to health. But most of anti-biotic medicines are contained alcoholic percentage. Some doctors advise not to smoke while holding cigarettes in their hand. This doctor maybe an agent for the liquor lobby.

It depends on the type of alcohol. A small glass of wine per day is actually slightly beneficial to the heart.
Hard liquor and beers don't seem to have any benefit.

Drinking a little will make you feel better.That is, until your body gets used to it. Then you will need more for the same effect. And then more and more and finally you're stuck on it. The doctors don't tell you the long term effects. One thing for sure, not drinking at all won't hurt you.

there is a minimum limit of alcohol which is said to be goood for ur heart but mind it that there is no minimum limit for ur liver.incase u r tryin to do goood to ur heart by alcohol u r at the same time doin bad for ur liver.and alcohlic liver cirrohsis is irreversible.so better stay away

i read in the paper today, that alcohol extends your life by 4 years.. but only if you drink a small glass of wine per day, never mentioned spirits, but i know that a small glass of whiskey is said to thin the blood, which is good
