i like this guy everyone says he has aids but i really like him i dont beleive it but.........................what if he does i dont want it

you need to ask him. It could be a vicous rumor. But, dating him is ok. You just need to abstain from all forms of sex until you can be positive that he does not have HIV. HIV is untreatable and you do not want it. If you find out that he does have it and you two are dating, be prepared to have to leave him, because chances are you are way too young to committ yourself to someone who is terminally ill. You will probably feel really sad once you find out. Stay safe.

The only way to know is if he gets or has been tested recently. If you really like him, don't listen to what everyone else says. If you feel you are mature enough and can handle the responsibility of sex(I don't know how old you are!) talk to him about your worries. Just don't present the conversation to him as that you heard rumors and you want to be sure. Just tell him that if the two of you are to be responsible then you should both be tested before you continue to the next step. If doesn't want to go to that level with you, then he is not as good of a man that you thought he was and you should forget about him.
Be careful. There is no cure for aids, so don't make your decision too lightly. And you can only catch it through the exchange of blood or bodily excretions made during sexual intercourse. You cannot catch it from kissing or holding hands. If he's worth it, that doesn't mean you have to sleep with him.

You shouldn't believe what people say about him without asking him about it first. Anyways, HIV status and safe sex are things you need to discuss before you even consider having sex with him.
The only way you can be reasonably sure is to go get an HIV test together with him- and even then to continue to use condoms when you have sex.... you never know whether or not he is cheating on you.
Would you sleep with this guy if no one ever mentioned anything about AIDS to you? If so, then you are not being realistic about HIV. You should assume all of your partners might have some STD and protect yourself accordingly if you want to stay clean.

First of all you shouldn't believe what everyone is telling you unless they have proof. You should ask him directly and if he tells you he doesn't and you still don't believe him you should have him get an Aids test. If you decide to be with him regardless if he has aids or not you should always protect yourself.

ok first of all how old are you????? it could just be a rumor because i know when i was younger i slept with a guy who people accused of having aids only because he slept around with a lot of girls. so people thought id be funny to talk ****. No he did not have aids. it has been years for me been checked a million times since then! if your worried have him get a test.

Keep in mind that AIDS and HIV are not the same thing. If this person has AIDS, then he is very ill and it should be obvious. If he has HIV, he may not have AIDS.
HIV is a virus.
AIDS is a disease.
Of course, anyone ignorant enough to use that as an excuse is probably not worth your time anyway.

MY ADVICE TO YOU IS DON'T LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY AND JUST GET TESTED!! The same thing happen to me before I started going with my now fiancee I used to party alot and someone who didn't like me told him that lie and he told me so I didn't say anything I just took him to the clinic to get tested because talk is cheap. Don't believe what people say I know from first hand experience! He is now my fiancee and he trusts me with all his heart because I didnt just tell him I proved it to him!
