AIDS stands for Aquired ImmunoDefinciency Syndrome.

"Immuno Deficiency" means that the person who has it has a low immune system, which is the systerm that fights infection etc. If you have AIDS, your immune system slowing "shrinks", as in the numbers of white blood cells (WBC) that are used to fight the infections etc are lowered and lowered. Once the immune system effectiveness and WBC count is low enough, pretty much anything that comes through into the body can kill the person, including the common cold, as there is little or no WBC's to fight it off and so the pathogens ("baddies" from the cold) can then attack your body without being stopped.

So, yes, you can die from a common cold.

Even if you don't have AIDS you could still die from the common cold, especially if you are old or already ill.

Having AIDS makes you unable to fight infection ...

yes, Aids attack you inmune system. Once your inmune system is gone or low enough where it becomes useless you can be killed by any type of disease. Imagine an advancing army against an empty letrine. They can easily take over it. Now imagine an army against a heavily fortified fort. The fortified fort is a healthy person aids or no aids. The letrine is someone who os sick regradless of the disease.

Aids means that you have the inablity to fight off infection. A common cold may or may not kill you. But the complications of one will. As your body has no way to fight off this infection. I know they have treatments, but as to how effective they are remains anyones guess. I think there is a lot more to it then treatment. I think it has to do with what stage you are in and what your body can really do.

Any ailment can. What aids does is it destroys the human physique's immune equipment. So at last, the physique has especially much no protection against any ailment. That being mentioned, the easy chilly, a fever or the different undemanding, oftentimes not deadly ailment or virus will become deadly.

Yes, AIDS attacks the immune system, so eventually when all your white-blood cells are defeated, one little virus can essentially say "Checkmate".

Which the strange thing is if you die, the virus' will eventually die in you.

you can NOT die from aids.aids attacks the immune system, weakening it, and you can die from the common cold.

just like the McDonald's hamburgers: they are filled with fat and bad stuff, that clogs the arteries, then it can cause a heart attack and you could die from it, but the hamburger didn't kill you, the stuff in the burger did. its all cause and effect.

hope i helped

Yes, once your white blood cell count is low enough (cells that fight off infections and disease), you can die from a cold.
