To cook an authentic Indian curry......Purchase a little book called the curry secret......This gives away the restaurant secrets. Making up a basic curry gravy in bulk , that you can store in large yogurt pots in the freezer........Following this the assortment of meals no matter what they might be, all come from this one curry gravy, easy and quick to prepare and put to the table.............Ive had many compliments for my curries over the years.........It also gives you many assorted recipes......... Good luck....

the good thing about cooking is that u just have ingrediants and u put them together to suite your tastes, dont bother with recipies get on with making the best curry that suites your taste even if its rubbish try something a little different next time

best thing is just cook it your way. used the ingred. that you have. saute one chopped onion (Med) and garlic, if you have curry leaves avail. then use some and dash of turmric. if you have curry paste then just use about 2-4 tbsp and some meat and some water and salt to taste. if you want potatoe then cut some potatoe in wedge and put it in curry when it's half way done. (but if you don't have curry paste then use your dry ingred. such as cumin, corriender, ground chili pepper, curry powder). But I always use the curry paste call (tag Mahal) and you can get it in your local grocery market.
