There is a higher chance that it will be.

Type One Diabetes can be genetically connected but there are a number or cases that are not this way. I would have this child checked up on every now in then if you are worried about this. Always, make sure the child is on a nutritious filled diet with all the food types. Often times, people try to stay away from all forms of sugar, but that is not the best thing to do. Also, many times the diabetes is brought out by physical conditions. Often, it will follow a flu, sever cold, or things like this. And make sure that stress is not daily. I hope this is of some help to you.

I am a type 1 diabetic and have been told by many doctors that there is only a 3 - 5 % chance that my children will also get type 1. But I do know a few parent-child diabetics.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Diabetes can be passed along family lines. However, by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the probability that diabetes will develop in offspring is lowered.

Yes. His children have a significant risk of being diabetic also. It is one of those diseases that tends to be passed down from generation to generation.

It means it runs in your family. Like heart disease, it can easily run in a family and make you more vulnerable to it.
It doesn't MEAN you'll get diabetes, but the chances are much higher that you will.

Type I diabetes does not seem to have a strong genetic component like type II does. That doesn't mean there is no genetic component, but the most widely accepted theory, is that it is cause by an autoimmune phenomenon. This means the body's immune system attacks its own islet cells (insulin producing cells in the pancreas) perhaps in response to a viral infection.

Type 1 maybe, but it can also skip a generation. Like our family.

Some diseases while not inherited do tend to run in families. Diabetes is one of them.
