No sex period with or without condom until full course of treatment is completed. Is your partner on antibiotic? If not
and you have sex again you also have trichomonas again. If you ever saw one of these bugs under a microscope you would have no problems waiting until you finish your treatment. And when I say, "Bug", I am not kidding! Hairy looking little bugger, ugly.

YES! It's an STD. If you have sex while you have it, you can spread it to others. It's actually little protozoans, and until they're dead...you can spread it. It won't clear up on it's own. You have to see a doctor to get the medication.

Condoms can reduce the risk, but with this...it doesn't actually have to be inserted for someone to get it. It can be spread through two women using the same towel in a locker room...(this happens in women's prisons) so I personally, would not trust a condom. I'd rather wait until the person was treated medically and the trich was gone.

Absolutely so not have sex until it's gone! Trich often has no symptoms- but it can cause infertility. Imagine those bugs that skim the top of a pond, but microscopic...that is what trich basically is. If you have it, or think you may, get and take a prescription until it is gone. Ten days without sex is not the end of the world. Explaining to the person you love that you'll never give them children because you didn't get treatment is much worse.

Yes--if one has trichomonas or any STD, they should abstain from sexual activity until they are sure they are disease free. This means taking all medication and folowing up with their health care professional. Health care professionals are also a good source for information on the prevention of contracting STD's.

Absolutely you should not have sex until both partners have been fully treated. Otherwise you just keep passing it back and forth
