I hope he gets treated. I used to take care of a person in a mental facility who was healthy other than not being treated for this. Crazy as a loon now and a danger to self and others! GET TREATED NOW!!!

If detected and treated, syphilis can be cured with antibiotics. If not treated, syphilis will linger and may progress to the late stage where more serious health problems, such as blindness, heart disorders, mental disorders, nervous system problems, and even death, can occur.

syphilis is easily treated. if one didn't want to treat it it could take decades to die. Lots of nasty secondary problems though, wouldn't be pleasant.

Syphilis is curable...It can be treated with antibiotics. So, you dont have to die from it
