way since he had one of his wisdom teeth pulled. We went and let the dentist check it out but they said they cannot find anything wrong with his tooth or the hole where it came out(how ever it is still healing very slowly) I am just wondering if it is possible to thave mono for 3 months or more and if there is anything the doctor can do other than a blood test to confirm he has it. I am 10 weeks pregnant and I just have morning sickness-should I be worried about gettting mono from him? thanks

Its unlikely he has mono and its very difficult to tell anyone from limited info what the problem might be. But, it is possible that your husband has a lingering low grade infection. Does the extraction site look red and inflamed? Is it sore to the touch, any pus coming from the site? Probably not since the Dentist has inspected it. But who knows.
If your husband does have some sort of infection, about the only way to know for sure is to have your physician take a blood sample and analyze it, looking specifically for an elevated white count.
Other than that it could be a variety of things, even depression. The best thing to do is go to your family physician and get a checkup.

could have an infection in his blood, from the prolonged open area in his mouth. Have him go to the doc and have some blood tests run. My gosh, feeling lousy for THREE MONTHS? Whats the hold up? Go in! Especially now that you are pg, you wouldnt want to be exposed to anything. Also, slow healing wounds can be a sign of diabetes (and he would feel quite rotten if that were the case as well)

if your worried you should have him tested, but honestly if you have the money you could just have a doctor seal up the hole.
