okay, Islam is a religion not a geographic location. Muslim people live all over the world and eat a variety of foods. Couscous is a Middle Eastern Dish and is eaten by people with a background of all sorts of religions. It will go well with any Middle Eastern or even Mediterranean dish.

couscous is made from cracked wheat. I believe it is originally from Morocco. It has become popular worldwide lately. So we can say it is mainly North African, Arabic, and of course Muslim. However, it is not a specifically Islamic dish.

It's Mediterranean, which is not necessarily Muslim. There are Jews and Christians who live in the Middle East, too.

It originated in Morocco. Morocco is a Muslim country, however I don't think the dish itself has any religious persuasion.

There is no such thing as a "muslim" dish...islam is a religion and muslim is one who practices it.
Couscous however is a Moroccan dish....
Moroccans can be other religions as well, i.e. there are Moroccan jews.
