Do you smoke?if so this could be the problem. Not what you wanted to hear im sure.Anytime you get an infection the antibiotics kill the bacteria well it cant stay in so just remember what goes down usually has to go up and now your body wants it out.as fare as your chest pain its going to be painful as you heal your lungs get scar tissue you can have pain even months after you have stopped coughing, bronchitis takes a long time to get rid off and once you have had it ,its easier to get repeated infections of it.if you start to get a fever though call your doctor .

So sorry but this latest bout of infection is coming and going for around 6 weeks you may find that he wont give you anything until it has gone its coarse. However you can get things from the chemist for your cough, Just go in and ask the pharmacist they are very helpful, They will tell you if you should make another appointment with your doctor or not. Remember to tell him or her about your asthma or any other medication.

Just remember you don't want to many antibiotics as your body NEVER forgets any that you have taken.
This means that when you get older, when you really need them you may be immune.
Don't knock the Doc, for looking out for your best Interests, and make sure you tell him everything.
Hope you get better soon.

Perhaps you clever teenager you - you should try using your inhaler. You may find it helps with the cough!! As to what? Its to do with the weather. The extreme cold winters used to kill the bugs. Now they stay around longer. Tough on us eh?
