How does that nine page answer above answer this question? Sounds like a service manual for the machine.

Standard Operating Procedure
This EKG Machine, provided by the Hospital EKG Dept., should be used whenever an
EKG will need a formal interpretation by the EKG Department. This machine will allow
for easier transmission by the EKG Department to the computers that perform the actual
interpretation. This EKG machine can be used for other EKGs too, but if used all the
time, the storage/memory capacity will be decreased.
• Keep the machine plugged in to the electrical outlet when not in use.
• To turn on, push the power button located in the lower right corner of the
keyboard.
• The patient can be hooked to the leads in the usual manner either before or after
the demographic data is entered.
• To enter demographic or patient data, push the F1 button located in the upper left
corner of the keyboard.
• When the demographic data screen appears, use the enter button or toggle knob to
enter info in the necessary fields. You must enter a patient name and MR
number. Some of the other fields can be skipped if an emergency exists.
The enter button will allow you to only move forward to each field, but
will not allow you to go backward. Use the enter button to move into the
next field.
The toggle knob will allow you to go backward and forward between the
fields. Turn it clockwise or counterclockwise until you reach the field you
want. If the toggle knob is pushed in, it will allow you to choose the
categories within a field (i.e., race – white, black, hispanic, etc.). Then use
the enter button to move to and select the actual category.
In the different fields, “referred by”= physician, “test indication” = study,
“location” = 98. Most all the other fields are self-explanatory.
• After the demographics are entered, you may perform your EKG. Push the
Record EKG button located in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard. This
will give you a 12 lead EKG.
• In order to get a Rhythm Strip, push the Record Rhythm Strip button located
below the Record EKG button. This will give you all 12 leads in a rhythm strip
for as long as you want until you push the Stop button below it.
• After the EKG is complete, push the F1 button to make a single copy. If you
want more than one copy, push the button a second time.
• To perform an EKG on another patient, either turn the power button off and then
on again, or push the F4 button to get a screen for the next patient.
• To load paper in the machine, push the button on the left side of the EKG
machine and slide a new packet of paper into the opening with the lined side facing up. Close the door with a piece of the EKG paper hanging out of the
opening and it will feed thru
Ensure that the patient is not wearing any Metallic or in contact with him.

Very simple 10 minute process. Adhesive stickers on your legs and around you chest/shoulders where they snap on wires. The EKG tech checks that all the wires are reporting their connection
then they run a paper report about three pages long.
Toughest part is pulling the stickers off - hair loss.
