If you think eating ginger or cinnamon or any spice is going to cure your diabetes, you are living in a dream world. If it did indeed work all diabetic drs would have patients eating these spices, they do not. This fallacy has been repeated many times here and I am sick of hearing about it. If you have diabetes it is a lifelong and life threatining disease, your only choice is to control it so it does not kill you. You control it through your doctor, then you can get cancer or hit by a car for your choice of death......we all going.

Ginger does has some value, but there are so many other factors that are at play. Nutrition is of the utmost importance. My dad has had very severe problems with diabetes for about 15 years. Of course the last 4 years he's just been getting worse and worse. He just started taking a dietary supplement which supplies all the necessary glyconutrients which the body needs to create proper cell function. With the cells communicating correctly, they are able to give the body the elements needed to repair itself naturally. In just two months of taking this product, he is having incredible effects. His neuropathy is going away. He hasn't been able to feel his feet in over 3 years. He can now, and has so much more energy now. His oxygen levels and blood sugar levels are going back to normal. Even the nurse that has been coming to visit him is so surprised at this turn around, she almost can't believe it. Please, just take a look at the website. I'm certain that this would benefit you tremendously.

Ginger has carbohydrates, and the total amount of same should be included in a diabetic's daily record of carb consumption. Ginger has no special qualities that recommend it as a theraputic agent in the treatment of diabetes.

In rat studies it has been shown to reduce the chance of kidney damage and it tends to stabilize blood sugar. The same goes for cinnamon. Of course humans are not rats, but similar results are expected. It certainly can't hurt.
