Absolutely not. It's basically impossible. In fact, you can not get ANY STDs from a toilet seat. There are a few situations here:

A) You're boyfriend is lying and he cheated on you

B) One of you has had it for years and has never realized it. Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because about three quarters of infected women and about half of infected men have no symptoms. Even if you were both tested years ago, tests are not always 100% accurate.

Good luck!

I had a scare once thinking it could be chlamidya, I researched it, before I went to the doctor, because I was worried. I of course didn't have it. From what my doctor told me chlamidya is like a yeast infection inside the vagina or for men on the outside of the penis. If you have ever had a yeast infection you know that it's important for your partner to get treated as well as yourself because the yeast, much like the bacteria that cause chlamidya, can live on the outside of your partners penis, without treatment it will stay there. Chances are you'l just get it again, don't jump to conclusions your boyfriend may not be cheating on you, it's been a long time since you got tested. Tell him so he can be treated and move on your fine.

Not as far as I know. I'm wondering how you got this diagnosis; i.e., why were you tested now? It could be you previously had a false negative test, this is a false positive, or it could be another infection masquerading as chlamydia. Speak to the doctor about this and if it really is chlamydia, your boyfriend needs to be tested and treated, too. Then, when you have all the information, and only then, it may be time for a little talk. If a relationship goes past three years without marriage, there's a decreasing chance that it will be permanent.

Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during vaginal childbirth.

Any sexually active person can be infected with chlamydia. The greater the number of sex partners, the greater the risk of infection. Because the cervix (opening to the uterus) of teenage girls and young women is not fully matured, they are at particularly high risk for infection if sexually active. Since chlamydia can be transmitted by oral or anal sex, men who have sex with men are also at risk for chlamydial infection.

Chlamydia is known as a "silent" disease because about three quarters of infected women and about half of infected men have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after exposure.

The surest way to avoid getting an STI is to not have sexual contact or to be in a long-term, mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who has been tested and is not infected. You can reduce your chances of getting chlamydia or giving it to your partner by using male latex condoms correctly every time you have sexual intercourse.

You cannot get Chlamydia from a toilet seat. This is an urban legend probably started by men to hide the fact that they play around with other women and men.

Chlamydia can be masked for months - a negative test doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't infected. You can get it from a toilet seat... if you are having sex on it! Get treated, then have a LONG talk with your boyfriend, as he is probably not telling you everything.

your boyfriend has cheated on you. you can not get an std unless you have had sex with someone else who has contracted it. i worked in a GYN clinic for years and i seen this all the time. the girl says that her boyfriend/husband would never cheat. 2 weeks later we see them for follow up and of course, they found out they were being cheated on.

be glad that you found out now, and that all you got was chlam. it could be a lot worse. at least this can be treated. my advice is to dump him before you get warts or aids. he obvoisly wasnt thinking about this or you when he was with the other girl.

good luck, anyone is better than a cheater.

It is rare but possible. The odds are that you got it from your boy friend if you have not been with anyone else but odds are your BF has it now from you no matter how you got it. You both need to be treated or it will go back and forth.

Yes, you can.
When I was a park ranger, we were trained to use special chemicals to clean the toilets once a day to get rid of any traces of STD's.
The thing is, you have to have a pretty large gaping wound on your *** to get it, but that isnt that uncommon in a recreational park, so we always took care to make sure the seats were clean.
