Asbestos is a dangerous chemical that can cause lung problems if it is inhaled. It was used a lot in the past during construction. If asbestos was found on your campus, they probably had to get a clean up crew to get rid of it so it is safe for everyone now.

Asbestos used to be used in building materials. Breathing it in can harm your lungs.
