There are tons of lists out there on the Internet.
Neutrogena has a moratorium on animal testing, but they promise to go back to it if the mood strikes them.
Dove is owned by Unilever, which certainly tests on animals. Dove also contains Sodium Tallowate - an animal by product.
St. Ives, I'm not sure about, but they frequently have animal by products in them. Check your ingredients label carefully.

I ussually go to PETA.COM to find any products that test on animals
Neutragena does, dove I don't think does... Not sure about St. Ives

I would stick to usuing products that say they don't test on animals on the packaging. It's your best bet. I use Tom's of Maine, Kiss My Face, and 365 (a whole foods brand).
