It is the same as receiving the flu shot....it stings for a little bit depending on how sensitive you are to needles but it is highly recommended. The flu has a cure but if you get HPV it leads to cancer....

Good Luck and I hope you make the right decision

No its fine. I've had all three doses of it now and its just the same as any other injection. You might feel it a little in your arm and afterwards it'll be bruised for a day or so. Its nothing to worry about, especially if you're normally fine with them :) x

It's just a shot, which feels like every other shot you've gotten in your life. I think donating blood hurts a lot worse than any shot, and I still do that as often as I can, so don't worry, you can take it!

Well there is a needle involved, so yea it will probably hurt. They inject the vaccine into your muscle so, it will probably be sore for a few days afterward. But, its definately worth getting.

Hell no! In fact, it kinda warm at first, no pinch, and then boom. Done. Feels like summer. I've gotten them alot! I purposefully skip timed appointments just to go back and get ome. Trust me, there is no sting.

My 9 year old daughter just got hers and her arm was a little sore but not sore enough for her to miss gymnastics later that day!

2 things to remember:
-the needle stings for a second, then gone.
-the solution usually is the thing makes it hurt
