when they say "Frequent urination"...?

...as a symptom of diabetes, how frequent do they mean? Like every hour or something? and how tired do they mean? All day?...Sorry for the stupid question but im a teen and kinda worried that I might have diabetes because im getting tired alot and I wee alot...Thanks.

If you have any concern at all, or suspect you might have diabetes, see your doctor. Your doctor can order blood test to determine if you are, or, if you aren't they can help you find out what's wrong and how to correct or treat it.

The most noticable symptom (to me amyway) was an excessive thirst. Seemed like I could not get enough to drink. That causes the frequent urination, like 3 or 4 times during the night, and every 2 or 3 hours during the day. You should see the doctor, and he/she will give you a simple blood test.

before i was diagnosed with type 1 i would go to the bathroom every 15-30minutes sometimes and i would get up 4 or 5 times at night to go. i would sleep for 12 hours and wake up still feeling like i didnt get enough sleep. do you drink a lot of water or pop too? thats another sign of diabetes. i could drink two 20 ounce bottles of pop or water in 10 minutes. have you lost alot of weight without trying to loose any? thats another sign

The best way to tell is to talk to a dr about it. Though you might have some symptoms due tot he fact that you are a growing teen and teens on average need more sleep. Your urination depends on how much liquid you drink a day.

Yes every hour or more all day and all night. Also with diabetes you are consuming enormous amounts of liquid because you are so thirsty all the time.

it sounds like ur pregnant i would take a pregnancy test to be sure
