That is a load of crap. Your friend has been misguided by the meat eaters out there who insist that peta set it all up. They did not. If you google food animals, you will find LOADS of information, from both public and private sources that will confirm the truth. If it makes you feel any better, I felf the same way after I heard about it, so I visited a chicken farm to see for myself. It was every bit as horrific as in the video. It is a fact. The meat eaters (who refer to themselves as People Eating Tasty Animals) use this garbage about it being a set up to make themselves feel less guilty about eating dead animals.

While certain sections of PETA have questionable means of protesting animal cruelty, none of the phots or videos they present are fake. That disgusting stuff happens to animals every day of the year all over the world, unfortunately. PETA does NOTHING to hurt animals....although some of the extreme radicals hurt people in the processes of saving the animals. I'm not sure which is worse.....

It is a proven fact that PETA does and will do ANYTHING to forward their agenda, however, not all of the videos are fake. You would be wise to steer clear of this radical and very militant arm of the new socialist party (which is EXACTLY what they are). There are many groups that help protect the enviroment and animals out there that are non-violent and reasonable.

It sounds like your friend listens to a lot of Rush Limbaugh.
Seriously. There are probably cases of people faking videos in order to garner sympathy for whatever cause they are fighting for.
The reality is that people are incredibly cruel to animals - and through their arrogance and ignorance have been responsible for destroying a lot of animals natural habitats. Does that mean that we all need to join PETA and become vegetarians? Of course not, but pretending as if the problem doesn't exist is just as stupid.
With just about any cause, like animal rights, or global warming, naysayers will always point out a few wackos or people who are making false claims and pretend like the whole movement is wacko, or fake.
Use your brain, and educate yourself.

From my understanding PETA is a really corrupt organization. They were in trouble a few years ago when donations were used to buy new SUV's and computers for some PETA members. PETA has also been known to kill countless animals. There was a man who owned a gourmet food store that sold foie gras. Members of PETA protested this and took it to far. They broke his windows, poured concrete into his plumbing, threatened his family, among other things. It wouldn't surprise me at all if PETA staged or exaggerated these videos.
You should at least take a look at this website. Remember just because PETA is wrong, does not mean at all that what you believe in is wrong. Extremist in any form is pretty wrong

Well, it is highly unlikely they are fake. You can go to many different groups and they have all the same kind of videos and photos. I kind of think this site contains a wide variety of such information which shows the same things. The reality in full color.

PETA has been known to take extreme measures, but it's unlikely that these videos are staged. There's no need to, as there is honestly enough animal cruelty in the world.

don't believe you friend. He is probably only making you feel bad. PETA does not hurt animals, and is a campaign to help SAVE animals and fur, in this case I believe that PETA does not harm animals at all.
PETA may have exagerated, but their videos are not fake.

PETA has a higher euthanasia rate vs. adoption rate at their animal shelters as opposed to the ASCPA.
PETA people are crazy.
Yes, some of those videos show real stuff.
