BP seems OK. Depends on your age of course but why did you have to be on medication in the first instance?
Eat healthily, avoid fatty foods and too much of oily cooking, frying etc. Exercise regularly. s you know all drugs do have a side effect over a period of time so be aware of the fact.

You don't state your age or weight, and how much of a contributing factor these two things may be to your high bp. I am fifty, and I had high bp. I was prescribed altace, 2.5 mg a day, and it normlized my bp to acceptable levels. I lost a large amount of weight, under a doctor's orders to do so for my health, and my bp averages around 100/68. I haven't taken altace in over a year, and am doing well.
