Hey sushi_lov, Do u know over 80 percent of the "Indian" restaurants in the U.K. serve Bangladeshi food as indian food ?

Many people mistake Bangladeshi food as being the same as Indian food. But, it is not so. Bangladeshi food has its distinct taste and character. Especially the variety of our curry dishes. The many diffrent meat, poultry and fish curries are a culinary delight. We have a variety of seasonal vegetable dishes also. One of the main charactesistics of Bangladeshi curry is that it is not as hot as its counterparts in the other parts of the Indian subcontinent

Very popular in Switzerland, every other restaurant seems to be just that. Maybe because of the populous?

Curry spices are used in a restrained way in both French and Italian cooking ( particularly with seafood and chicken ) but curry as we know it in the UK is rarely eaten or cooked in those countries.

I dont know about the rest of Europe.
