I get cold sores when I’m stressed and when I’m on diet. I get them only around my lips and they disappear in 1 week I still have little dark scars but they go away fast. I never had them anywhere else. I know it is HPV but type one not two. I’m not sexually active, never have been. Can I still get HPV vaccine for type two? If yes what is the name of vaccine that is FDA approved. I never had genital herpes. I’m 22.

You are talking about two completely different STDs.

HPV (Human papillomavirus) is a virus that causes genital warts and cervical cancer. There are over 100 different kinds of HPV.

Herpes is a virus that causes painful sores on the lips/mouth area and on the genital area. Herpes simplex virus 1 is typically cold sores, while herpes simplex virus 2 is typically genital herpes. Both herpes simplex virus 1 & 2 however, can cause both cold sores and genital herpes.

It sounds like you have herpes simplex virus 1, which is typically cold sores. The new HPV vaccine will have absolutly no effect on your cold sores and will not protect you from ever contracting genital herpes. The only thing that Gardasil (the vaccine) will protect you against is 4 different strains of HPV. Two that are known to cause cervical cancer and two that are known to cause genital warts.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about four years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I realize a lot of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/946Dq everything improved.

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

HPV is the Human Papilloma Virus, which causes cervical cancer and warts. your talking about HSV which is Herpes Simplex Virus. HSV type 1 and 2 are not generally an above the waist and below the waist deal. its more of a recurrency thing, HSV 1 generally only recurrs about once a year, and HSV 2 recurrs more often. And of a vaccine i don't know about.

I can give you one tip, if you buy hydrogen peroxide and put it in a small spray bottle and spray it on your sores, they sores will dry up faster and it will lower the recurrences.

good luck.
