Kind of silly question but any thing that arouses your emotions could raise your heart rate. Quit worrying about your heart rate if you are healthy

I remember when I took a pysc. class the instructor, a Phd candidate, said that watching movies is a state of hypnosis. I think that if a movie takes control of you you will feel what the movie producers want you to feel. If they want you exited your heart rate will increase, if they want you to cry well they can do that very well. I think this is part of the reason movies can be a great form of entertainment.
