Lame, weren't any of these people young once? Me and my sister (i was 15, she was 18) threw a party when my parents went away and it was all everyone talked about for like the next 6 months! They never found out and nothing went wrong.
Firstly, have it on the first night they are away so you have time to clean up/replace any thing that might break.
Dont tell the neighbours, just turn the music down and get everyone inside at midnight...they probably wont dob.
Put all the breakable stuff away or wedge it (like big tvs) into a corner so they cant fall over. REMEMBER where everything went (write it down) so you can put it back right. Put a "dont enter" sign on your parents room.
Give your parents a friends mobile number and have them fake being a parent when their number comes up. cool!
you gotta be daring but it can totally be done!

I'm thinking that you should first alert your neighbors that you plan to have a kegger. Then move all the furniture into the garage. Put away your mom's best china and nick knacks and make sure to lock their bedroom door so that your friends, being the upstanding individuals they are, won't be tempted to steal anything valuable. Then I'd make sure that I have paint and a wall repair kit on hand, just in case things get out of control You just never know! Make sure that your family pets are put at a kennel, so they won't get freaked out by the noise and other stuff going on. And, take the sheets off all the beds, substituting rubber ones for lifes little accidents when underage kids are doing the dirty! You might alert the police also to have a bed made up for you and your closest buds, just in case. Hell, you're going to need a warm secure place to sleep this one off, aren't you? Once you've secured the house and gotten replacements for your family's most prescious things, go for it! Oh, and by the way, I'm not really sure where you'll find one of your parent's most treasured items: their trust in you, which will be a bummer, because once its lost, well.....you can't really ever replace it again!

I'm sure your friends will come up with some ideas for you. It doesn't really matter, you are so busted even before your parents have left the driveway.
Everyone deserves a little disaster in their lives, a little grounding, a few months without a phone or computer, so my advice is to do whatever pops into your empty little head!
Go for it!

Don't have the party at your parents house, whatever you do. The only way you will be able to relax and have fun is if it is at someone else's house, with them bearing the responsibility.
Go to your friends' house and sneak out. Then come home and take a shower and brush your teeth-remove every trace. You will feel better about it on monday.

Candace, your asking for trouble if you do this. Your parents are giving you a bit of trust and you want to completely disobey that and try to back stab them. Not good. If you do go ahead and proceed and you get caught... you have been told many times "I told you so!"

You are asking for trouble, big time! Think of the repercussions after they trash your house and the neighbors start calling the police on you. You do know that there will be liquor and drugs and weapons, don't you. Don't do it!

I don't think you should have this party at all. You will get caught & get in BIG FAT trouble. It's not cool anymore to disobey parents & it's not cool to tell lies, especially where you will be staying. You will involving alot of people in your lies. No one will trust you again.

What ever you do, don't do it at your parent's house. With that many people and alcohol, something WILL go wrong and you will get caught. Someone will break something or get hurt and that won't be good.
