Invitation: Make card to look like a sleeping bag and insert a picture of your daughter. Use stars and moon stickers on envelopes.

*Ask people to set up their sleeping bags (inside or in outside tents) as soon as they arrive.
*Scavenger hunt around your neighborhood in their PJ's before dinner.

for food just get them junk food like ice cream, chips, maybe order a few pizzas, they can have make overs, let them do one on you, that would be more fun than doing one on each other and you would be the coolest mom ever. As for movies, I'm thinking Princess Diaries, High School Musical, Save the last Dance, Grease. I dont know about crafts. maybe they can each bring in a plain t-shirt (any color) and then you can have a contest to see who can glam it up the best. provide fabric glue, maybe some gems (a bedazzler would be nice), some glitter glue, maybe even some iron-on images (you can get the iron-on paper at any craft or fabric store and pre-print images right off your computer for them to use). You can also get them some kareoke CDs that you can easily pop in your DVD and they can kareoke the night away.
Have fun!!

Lol....you have no idea!!!!! I love teen girls slumber parties! Ok, so, have your daughter make a list of all the foods and junk foods she wants to have and make sure you have plenty on hand. Make "gift bags" for each guest that will include fingernail polish, lip gloss, bubble bath, candy, phone cards and something fun to put in their hair. Also have on hand, those spray on hair colors that wash out. Make up and facials are fun, but you'll also need to make sure you know about possible skin allergies. Rent lots of movies, buy lots of teen magazines, especially the ones that have the prom dresses in them, and plan on not sleeping a whole lot!

My daughter and her friends like to do sing star kareaoke on playstation. A good idea is to make lip balms and other natural skin care/ make up products. Lip balm is made by heating up bees wax and olive/ good quality oil. add a scent to it using oils from the kitchen cupboard such as pepermint or vanilla /chocolate essence..and colour with food colouring if they want. I cant remember the exact preportions of oil/wax. im sure they could figure it out.
As for movies, Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure. Mean girls Legally blonde . I normally get at least one each of the following, something scary, something romantic, a "high school movie" and a child hood favorate like a disney movie from when they where little kids. ( You would be surprised how many of them want to watch this )
Have fun!

Yes, you are def in for an all nighter, lol! Well, for starters when the girls arrive, have "pedi stations" set up (the dollar dree square dish pans are perfect, a plush towel, a foot lotion, and some pretty polish and nail stickers for each girl) and let them do each others pedicures.
Order pizza for dinner, it's what they expect and love, unless they want chinese take-out instead
do a "midnight sundae bar". At midnight, set up ice creams, sprinkles, toppings, whipped cream and let the girls go at it.
Let your daughter pick all the movies and then just let them have fun. They'll stay entertained, trust me.

We just did a movie theme for my daughter's b-day.
We made a "concession stand" with mini corndogs, chicken nuggets, pretzels w/cheese and nachos w/cheese and popcorn(got popcorn boxes for 1.99 at Target)
Also had swedish fish, and reeses pieces in star tins. I also made "popcorn" cupcakes...
http://jas.familyfun.go.com/recipefinder/display?id=50184 which were HUGE hit
I bought some cheap movie posters and hung stars all around the room. We also had a huge cut out of Orlando Bloom from pirates ot the caribbean.
They played movie charades and american idol karaoke. They also watched a bunch of movies-material girls, cheaper by the dozen, just my luck, etc. They made a craft too-I got wooden stars at the craft store that you could hang on the wall which they painted and put their names on.
For "goody bags" I bought the big popcorn buckets at blockbuster and threw in snowcaps..
The girls had a blast. Good luck

hey, you know what would be better than getting advise from another mom? YEA! THATS RIGHT getting advise from a real 14 year old in the flesh!!!!!!!! So, I had this party and it was SOOOO fun!! Everyone knows me as "the girl that has awsome birthday parties" and like last year I invited 4 of my closest friends to a sleepover at a hotel and we reserved 2 rooms, one for us girls and one for my parents, and we went to the mall. we tried on some prom dresses and took pictures of how stupid we looked and then we went back to the hotel and went swimming at the hotel's indoor pool until like 10:00pm and then we stayed up talking until we passed out... and in the morning we ate in the lobby for the free breakfast buffet. And we went swimming again until everyone's parents came. It was SOO much fun i will never forget it!!! and you dont even have to spend a million $$ on decorations and stuff!! its the best way to entertain teenage girls!!!! trust me all girls live for is shopping, free food, shopping, swimming, shopping, and talking!!

John Tucker Must die, is a great movie, especially for teens, ( don't worry its a chic-flick, no blood or anything like that!) You can have a theme as maybe 'americas next top model' and you have photo shoots and like they dress up in funky close and like do runways, take pictures. Search on google for cool ideas.

If you can tolerate a mess in your kitchen, have them make their own pizzas. I've used frozen bread dough for the crust. Just have all the toppings available for hem to do up whatever they like.
