HTN is hypertension which is likely high blood pressure. There is also pulmonary HTN which is something else. Pneumonia is not a good thing. Often if the elderly or immuno-compromised are in hospital they can pick up MRSA which is a bacteria (the superbug) and it's hard to beat that back...thus a lot of people have a hard time beating back the pneumonia. That is also hard on the heart, so if she has HTN, that and the pneumonia can take a toll on one's heart. White blood cells are the immune system so they are fighting or trying to...maybe they are eating up the red blood cells but I'm not sure what any of that means.
You should really ask a doctor what all this means and not in here. I hope she will recover quickly!

I cant tell you about HTN without more info as far as the white blood cells eating the red ones that is usually a sign of an overely agressive immune reaction to a virus or disease sometimes associated with leukemia as for the double pneumonia I assume they have her in the hospital and on oxygen and some sore of antiviral therapy and that she is in an elevated position never flat or she could drown in fluids it also sounds like CHF is also in play and that they may have to use diuretics like lasix and make sure she has plenty of potassium with that talk to her dr about your concerns best wishes Gorbalizer

the white blood cells are immature because you're eating meats, which have many undesirables in it, which forces the white blood cells to make a move for the gross meat, but if you live vegan, your white blood cells will not be forced out of the bone marrow because of your sick life, and you will then develop mature white blood cells, capable of fighting the disease.

Wow, I'm sorry bout all that, but needless to say, I can't help you much. But, you shoukd tell someone to watch her for cancer, becuse that causes cancer when that happens. I think that if the white cells eat the red cells your blood clots inside of you and can cause a tumor. Hope she'll be okay, and good luk with the heart disese thing.
