Hi: I'm wanting to go organic/natural not only with food but cleansers and what not, mainly products that do not test on animals. My main concern is that I have oily/acne prone skin at the age of 25, I have to use products that contain salicylic acid; currently I'm using Oil of Olay Acne Treament which is working wonders, but I read that the company tests on animals. Does anyone know of a organic/natural alternative to salicylic acid face wash? Something that is not too expensive? Thanks a bunch:)!!

Salicylic acid is plant derived. So it's ok for vegetarians and vegans.

It's a critter friendly product that you want.

Aveda products are PETA approved. Their acne line is great.

Vegan Essentials carries a number of critter friendly products.

Find a willow tree and strip some bark. Soak it in a quantity of water overnight and you've got it!

A more common method is to dilute cider vinegar by half and rinse with that! Works wonders as a hair conditioner too!
