You cant even feel it. It is a qtip on a stick about 6 inches long and they take clamps and open your vagina ( Doesnt hurt eighter ) and then they stick the qtip inside and get cells from your cervex and send them into a lab to get tested. It only takes a few minutes. Dont be afraid.. Just relax.

Well... If you do have an STD or yeast infection it can hurt like heck. The area is already very sensitive, and now you are rubbing it with a swab. It is not anything bad enough to avoid going! The whole thing takes about a minute, and you get the answers you need! It is well worth the peace of mind!
