Just recovering from influenza but the result (as always) has left me with a very agressive chest infection.Does anyone have any good tips or remedies to help me out.Im really fed up with it know, i just can`t seem to cough anything up or clear my chest.
Distgusitng i know!

I had exactly the same thing last week. I found that Lemsip Max Strength helped considerably. Also extra strong Lockets (green packet) are good for a bad chest - not the honey and lemon or blackcurrent though, since their not strong enough for the effect to get right down into your lungs.

If the chest infection persists for more than a couple of days, see your doctor as you might need an anti-biotic.

Have you tried going to get some antibiotics from your GP, that would be the best thing to do. Alternatively there is a behind the counter medicine you can get called " Do Do Chest-Eze ", it's quite strong stuff and it opens up the airways in your chest releasing the phlegm and allowing you to breath better.
I never have to use a whole packet of the stuff as it's so powerful. I hope you get better soon!

benerlyn chesty cough medicine is quite good or you could drink lemon drink
