Stop drinking caffeine. If you drink too much, the caffeine in the cola makes your heart race or "palpitations." I use to drink too much coffee and cola and this happened to me. I went to the doctor and he said "What are you trying to do kill yourself?" I now only drink 2 cups of coffee a day and only and occasional cola a week. Good Luck.

It sounds like you are like me and are more susceptible to caffiene effects.. I can drink coffee, etc. but my heart tends to race more than the normal person..It is safe, I went to a cardiologist because I am only 34 but just don't drink so much caffiene at one time.

Stop drinking all beverages with caffeine. If it continues, by all means, see a doctor.

Too much caffeine!! Switch to another kind with no caffeine or another one all together, too much caffeine can also give you anxiety attacks, and those you do not want.
